A customer called in to see if their tow could be done unattended since they were waiting on the side of the road in 95 degree weather. In this case there were a few miles of overages that would typically be charged, but Scott from Crow Towing didn’t want the customer to have to wait in the heat and worry, so he waived the overages. The customer was very appreciative that they didn't have to stand out in the heat and for all that Crow Towing did on the job.

Scott's Towing & Recovery

Scott’s Towing & Recovery is an award-winning company based in Woodbridge, New Jersey. They provide 24-hour-a-day towing and roadside services to greater Woodbridge as well as surrounding central New Jersey areas.

Founder Scott Flowers started working in a body shop in the summer of 1977. At that time, he was a young kid with a strong curiosity who was also fast learner, which the people around him quickly recognized. He enjoyed doing a good job and knew immediately that he was hooked on the automotive industry.

With this early experience, Scott began to build his business from the ground up. He launched Scott’s Towing & Recovery in 1983 with just a single tow truck and valuable enthusiasm for the industry. The business grew quickly, and today he’s the proud owner of a fleet of eight trucks that serve hundreds of customers across the central New Jersey Area.

Scott’s hard-working style, positive attitude and dedication to providing honest service gained him a strong reputation in the towing industry. He’s an active member of his community and is continuously working to improve his capabilities and raise professional standards. With all the certifications, awards, and achievements he’s racked up so far, it’s clear that Scott goes above and beyond to maintain his strong reputation for customer service.

The man that I spoke with, Larry, was extremely friendly and helpful, and agreed to take the call even though it was so far away because I couldn't find anyone else and he did not want the customer to be stranded. “My wife and I found ourselves on May 27, 2014 in need of using the roadside assistance for our 2008 Chrysler PT Cruiser, which was provided through our extended warranty. This was our first experience with using this assistance and was very impressed with every aspect of the service provided.

I had just left the dentist office having had oral surgery performed and was not able to lift, carry, or exert myself when I found the left front tire was flat and the rim sitting on the ground, thus the need to contact the roadside service.

I was advised of the expected time of arrival for the assistance and in fact the assistance arrived several minutes earlier than expected. Mr. Miguel of your organization provided the service of removing the flat tire and replacing it with the donut spare and taking the time to inform us of the limitations of the donut spare. The assistance, courtesy and professionalism of Miguel was greatly appreciated and my wife and I would like you to be aware of his very positive image of your company.

“I just wanted to express my personal gratitude to your company and your driver Rick.  Last Thursday, I had the unfortunate experience of having a tire blowout in my government vehicle at the very busy interchange between I-10 & I-37.  Rick called me and provided an estimated time he would arrive to render assistance. Once he arrived, he loaded the vehicle onto the flatbed, transported my vehicle to the Federal Building and unloaded the vehicle in a safe and careful manner.  Rick also allowed me to ride with him, as I had no way of returning to the office.  He was then able to change the tire on the vehicle in a safe and secure way.  Rick was courteous and professional at all times.  Afterwards, when I asked him if he could take a government credit card as payment, he replied “let me call my boss”.  After talking with you he informed me that you had authorized “no charge for the service”.  Again, I just wanted to personally say thank you.  It is the support from citizens like you, and companies like yours, that make it a pleasure being in public service serving and protecting our citizens and community.

My husband just had a triple bypass and was unable to repair the tire himself. Your worker was very sweet. She jumped out of her vehicle and asked us to pull over for our safety and proceeded to change our tire. She was so kind to my daughters and when I told her about my husband's health restrictions she said she was sure my husband will be fine. She told us she would keep us in her prayers and said to pull out slowly and stay at 55 miles per hour. She smiled and said no worries, it will get better and she waited till we left.
